A short loop around Hartfield

Hartfield 6 mile loop

Duties at home delayed our start today so Ivan and I met up for lunch at an old friend "The Anchor" at Hartfield. And after enjoying the refreshments on offer we took to the fields to exercise our legs on a 6 mile loop through 100 acre wood.

The trail took us up to the edge of the Ashdown Forest and we then looped round to cross the "Pooh Sticks Bridge". From here we went on to the old railway line before looping back to The Anchor and the cars.
